When we started The Lit Library, it wasn’t about being fancy or winning things.

It was about:

• Creating a home for Black readers & Black stories
• Showcasing authors and uplifting their work
• Having honest, joyful, chaotic, hilarious conversations
• Building community through love, books, and authenticity
• Giving listeners a space where they feel seen, heard, and celebrated

To be recognized for that — to be honored for something built from passion, teamwork, and true community love — means everything.

This award isn’t just ours.
